Alka Misra, an ex-office-bearer of BJP Mahila Morcha is an accused in Malti''s murder case.<br /><br />Although the newly appointed Mahila Morcha state president Shailtanya Srivastava hinted that Alka may not be given berth in the new executive committee, she refused to make any comment on the murder of morcha''s former city president.<br /><br />Activating Morcha members, Srivastava said that her priority would be to take up issues relating to women in the state. "Atrocities against women have increased manifold under the present regime, while UPA government''s policies have put an extra burden on their kitchen," she charged announcing to hold state wide demonstrations to draw the attention of both the governments.<br /><br />She, however, evaded queries on Kalyan Singh''s daughter-in-law being given ticket from Atrauli at the cost of senior Morcha members. "Party has given her ticket after careful thought. Being daughter-in-law alone may not be the only criteria. This could not be construed as promoting ''<span style="" font-style:="" italic="">vanshvad</span>'' within BJP," she clarified.</div> </div>
